How to connect with another Organization

This article will teach you how to connect a Customer with another Organization or set up a Public Profile.  

How to connect a Customer

1. Hover over the Manage tab and click on Customers.

2. From here you can either create a new Customer or use one that's already in your list. Find out more on: Adding a New Customer

3. Click on View Details and then click on the Invite button.

4. By default, the system will try to search for the Organization you are trying to connect to.  If our system already has this Organization, you will be able to connect directly to them by clicking the Connect button.  If the organization is not in our system, you can create a public profile for them (see more on that in the next section below).



How to set up a Public Profile for your Customer

1. If your Customer doesn't already have their own org site on BuiltSpace, you can set one up by clicking on the link: set up a public profile for them.

2. Fill out the form presented to you. Select the Roles at the bottom of the form and click on Save.

3. You have now connected your Organization and your customer's organization.  Now you will just need to invite some of your customer's users and share some Buildings so that your customer can view their data on their new BuiltSpace org site.
